Pharmacy Students at the University of Petra Participate in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Professional Success Day

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at the University of Petra, in collaboration with Al-Osra Drug Store, organized a ground-breaking scientific day dedicated to pharmaceutical marketing and professional success skills in the pharmaceutical sector. This event is the first of its kind among Jordanian universities.

The event featured lectures by experts from the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on marketing strategies, labor market requirements, and practical advice for pharmacy students to help them achieve professional success after graduation.

The event also included a poster competition where students presented scientific posters based on SWOT analyses and innovative marketing plans for various medications. Winning students received awards from Al-Osra Drug Store in recognition of their outstanding ideas and efforts.

Dr. Dirar Balawi, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the University of Petra, highlighted the importance of the event in bridging academic knowledge with practical applications. He emphasized that the scientific day serves as a bridge between university education and the real-world practices of medical and pharmaceutical marketing. Dr. Balawi also underscored the significance of collaboration with the private sector to enhance students' learning experiences and open new horizons for their future careers.
